About

Who is Nina?

On the outside: Only child. Air Force brat. Transcendental meditator since the early '70s. Blissfully married to the father of my three adult sons. Grandmother of two (so far). Dancer, writer, tinkler in music. Legal Assistant turned Life Coach.

My philosopy: I believe it is important to laugh, especially at ourselves. Life is a work in progress, and if it ever reaches completion there will be no place else to go, so we'd better darn well enjoy the ride!

My Guiding Principles:
(1) Don't take yourself too seriously
(2) Simplify!

My secret to success: Appreciation.

What moves me: Simplicity, eloquence, mirth, sass, magic, curiosity, intuition, learning about myself and others and the workings of the universe.

Why am I a Life Coach?

I first met with a coach over coffee at Starbucks, blubbering that I didn't know who I was or what I wanted, but desperately craving greater meaning, purpose and joy in my life. After an hour with my coach, my feeling had shifted to the lightness of relief, possibility, and knowing that what I want is within my grasp. I knew in that moment that helping others to feel that shift would fulfill my life's purpose and bring me the deeper joy I so desperately sought.

Training and Certification

I trained and earned status as a Certified Professional Coach through the Academy of Coach Training in Bellevue, Washington. Seeking and applying wisdom that pertains directly to what I want, I am a life-long learner.
